Thank you for your interest. The Making Connections: Active Transportation Priorities Plan 2014-2019 was approved by Regional Council in 2014 and a series of projects from the Plan are in different stages of planning and implementation

  • Porters Lake and Surrounding Communities Active Transportation Plan

    HRM, in co-operation with the Shore Active Transportation Association (SATA), is inviting residents of Porters Lake and the surrounding communities to provide their input into the development of an Active Transportation Plan for the area.  This plan will cover an area stretching from Porter’s Lake to Musquodoboit Harbour, including the communities of Porter’s Lake, the Chezzetcooks (East, Lower East, West, Head), Grand Desert, Seaforth, Conrad’s Settlement and Gaetz Brook.
