Walk n' Roll Community Led Walk | Oxford Street Corridor
4 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Ardmore Park, Oxford at Almon
This walk will proceed along Oxford Street, one of the designated Centre Plan Corridors. Participants will look at the current situation and discuss how the Centre Plan may influence the mix of land uses, building heights, neighbourhood character, and street safety in the future.
Recommended Registration: If you plan to attend, let us know on facebook.com/centreplanwalks or email firstname.lastname@example.org - this helps us with planning and allows us to contact you in the unlikely event of a cancellation.
Walk ‘n Roll Hfx is a pedestrian advocacy organization that focuses on Safety, Wellness, Accessibility, Urban Design and Maintenance to enhance the experience of people who walk or roll in HRM.
Walk ‘n Roll Hfx wants to make the Centre Plan the best it can be. We are organizing walks throughout the regional centre in partnership with local organizations, to improve residents' understanding of the plan's potential impacts and collect their feedback. What better way to talk about the plan than while walking through the areas it touches?
Walk n' Roll Hfx welcomes anyone interested in hosting a walk, or wanting to get involved in pedestrian issues, to get in touch via email@example.com or www.walknrollhfx.net.
