The municipality is developing an Accessibility Framework to improve access to programs and services.
To gain additional feedback to support the engagement sessions that were held in spring 2018, we are hosting two new open houses in November. Guests are invited to attend either one of two sessions being held on Thursday, Nov. 1 and Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018.
For those who have received an invitation but are unable to attend an in-person session, please have your say by participating in our online survey.
Thank you to everyone who took part in our open house sessions in February and March 2018 and to those who completed our online survey.
At the direction of Regional Council, the Diversity and Inclusion team will work to develop an Accessibility Framework for the municipality based on all feedback received from our residents.
If you would like to contact someone in our Diversity and Inclusion Office, you can send an email to diversity@halifax.ca
