Food Experiences in the Halifax Region During COVID-19
While COVID-19 affects us all, impacts vary depending on the resources you can access. This time is uncovering strengths, vulnerabilities, and room for growth in our food system. As work begins on the JustFOOD: Action Plan for the Halifax Region, we want to learn from this time so we can improve access to good food and be more resilient and better prepared for future events.
We would appreciate hearing how your food experiences have changed, such as, new ways you’ve discovered to access food; new food skills like learning to or spending more time gardening, cooking; and challenges to the way you normally access food.
Your responses will be used to increase understanding of the impact of COVID-19 on people’s experience with food, how to build on strengths and address challenges for the future. This survey will remain live for the next few months to learn more about experiences during the height of the pandemic and as a new “normal” slowly emerges.
This anonymous survey should take about 10 minutes to complete. Participation is completely voluntary.
You may skip any question by hitting NEXT at the bottom of the page. You may leave the survey at any time by hitting EXIT or closing your browser and any completed questions will be deleted.
This survey is hosted by the Halifax Regional Municipality and the Halifax Food Policy Alliance , in support of the Food Action Plan. If you would like to speak to someone about the JustFOOD: Action Plan for the Halifax Region, email smillil@halifax.ca or call 902-266-4958
