Each year, the Business Units within Halifax Regional Municipality prepare their budget and business plans to be presented to Regional Council. Before we begin the next cycle of business planning, we are asking for input from the public to help us guide this process.
We want to understand what spending priorities are most important to you, and if we should increase, decrease, or maintain municipal service levels when developing the next budget.
To make sure your thoughts are captured, please fill out our online survey. Your responses to the survey will help with our immediate and long term planning. Results of the survey will be posted online this fall.

Welcome to the 2019 Shape Your Budget Survey! Thank you in advance for taking the
time to participate in this survey. Your responses will help guide the Halifax
Regional Municipality with its immediate and long-term planning. The results
from this survey will be available on the municipality’s website.
The survey should take approximately 10 minutes
to complete.
The deadline for completing this survey is September 30, 2019.

strictly confidential and the results of the survey will not be used in any way
that will allow anyone to identify you or your responses. Your
participation is voluntary, and you can discontinue your participation at any
time.
